Sugarcane [#933]
Dear Dr Ossama Abdel-kawy:

I would like to know about the status of genetic transformation of sugarcane in Egypt.
Has there been approval for field tests of transgenic sugarcane in Egypt?
What traits have been incorporated?
Who are the principal scientists working with transgenic sugarcane in Egypt?
Where is the work done?

Thank you,
William Burnquist
